Learning Method

What makes EverydayDeutsch different from other apps?

Instead of abstract grammar drills, EverydayDeutsch focuses on real-life scenarios you'll actually face in Germany — like visiting a doctor, going to the Buergeramt, or apartment hunting. Every phrase comes with native audio and cultural context.

What is spaced repetition (SRS)?

Spaced repetition is a scientifically proven learning technique that shows you vocabulary at increasing intervals. Cards you find easy appear less often, while difficult ones come back sooner. This optimizes your review time for maximum retention.

How do the conversation simulations work?

Conversation simulations present you with realistic dialogue scenarios. You choose responses and get scored on appropriateness. This helps you practice the flow of real German conversations.

What is the readiness score?

The readiness score tracks your progress across phrases, drills, and conversation practice for each scenario. It shows how prepared you are for that real-life situation.

How many vocabulary entries are there?

There are hundreds of vocabulary entries across 75+ categories, covering A1 through B2 levels. New content is added regularly.
